About me!

Hey there! My name is Jordan Rutter and I am a 3D character animator. I love bringing characters to life through various different styles of animation. I tend to lean towards more cartoony animation, having a lot of my personal content be based around video games.

I have been animating for over 7 years now, My experience with animation started with
YouTube where I created content for my channel from 2014 - 2017. I mainly posted work based on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, in 2014 I submitted my short film 'Sweet Dream' in celebration of the 24th Anniversary of the franchise. The video went on to grab the attention of the official Sonic twitter account. Since then I have grown a following on both my YouTube and Twitter account where I continue to post my work.

Since then I have received my bachelors degree from the University of Portsmouth in July of 2019. In March of 2020 I landed my first animation role at Climax Studios, working on my first published title 'Returnal' for the PS5, supplying animations for the Hyperion boss battle, and the intro cutscene for the Ixion boss battle.

I hope to further my career in the animation industry, exploring games, TV and film, while continuing to learn and improve my skills in character animation. Hopefully one day I could inspire others to pursue their own animation goals as others have inspired me.

Thank you so much for reading.

- Jordan
